Young Sun Architecture is a Los Angeles-based studio specializing in modern design. Honoring a synthesis of beauty and purpose, founder Young Sun envisioned a practice devoted to architecture that answers real-world challenges without sacrificing artistry or imagination.

We design across scales and typologies – from homes to public and commercial spaces – with a unified methodology that adapts to context while maintaining a modern sensibility. Our practice balances the pursuit of beauty with a pragmatic understanding of how built environments shape human experience and well-being.

The studio extends a 35-year family legacy of architecture and craftsmanship: Young grew up immersed in the world of design and gained formative experience in his father’s architecture and construction business, founded in 1989.
