Arcadia Renovation

This Arcadia renovation balances rich materiality, natural light, and a refined modern sensibility. A dramatic stone fireplace anchors the main living space, its expressive veining wrapping the hearth and surround to create a sculptural focal point. Wide-plank wood flooring and clean-lined walls allow the textures to take center stage, while expansive windows draw in soft daylight and frame views of the surrounding landscape.

In the kitchen, a monolithic stone island pairs with warm walnut cabinetry and a full-height stone backsplash, creating a seamless interplay of pattern and tone. Minimal pendant lighting and integrated appliances maintain a streamlined aesthetic, while subtle brass accents add warmth and depth. The open layout fosters connection between cooking, dining, and gathering spaces, enhancing both functionality and flow.

A bold, color-saturated powder room introduces a moment of contrast, enveloping the space in a warm terracotta hue and soft natural light. Throughout the home, carefully curated details — from custom millwork and built-in shelving to thoughtfully integrated lighting — create a cohesive, contemporary environment that feels both elevated and inviting.
