Tiny Houses

The need for two distinct units on a compressed lot, combined with city requirements for wall breaks, led to archetypal volumes shifting along a grid. The jostling of volumes causes a small interstitial space to expand at each core. The interstitial space forces an opening in the roof, creating a small skylight. Throughout the day, sunlight pierces the center of the house and fills it with varying glowing figures.
