Vilnius National Concert Hall
Comprised of a series of hyperbolic paraboloid surfaces, the skin of the concert hall turns in and out of the surrounding park and urban context. A nested concert hall is revealed underneath a twisting sheet. The building surface of the Vilnius Concert Hall undulates between the facade surface and the building form. Sitting atop a prominent hill in Vilnius, the concert hall attempts to negotiate the need for iconic architecture and catalyzer of urban fabric.
